The chip can be reset with the chip resetter, in order to reset the cartridges the ink level must not be less than 15%. So you have to reset before the ink level reaches 0% because in this case you will not be able to reset the chip.

The chip can be reset from 1 to 100 times, if for any reason it stops working just buy and replace the chip.
